WHAT THEY'RE SAYING ABOUT CHOIR AT EAST

From Dr. Thomas Cleveland, head of the Voice Center at Vanderbilt University:

"Thank you for the opportunity to share with your extraordinary students!"

From Mr. Bruce Neswick, formerly Organist & Choirmaster for the Episcopal Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine in New York City, and currently professor of music at Indiana University:

"It's been my privilege over the years to work on several occasions with the  musicians of this fine school.  The level of intellectual engagement and musical  proficiency displayed by these awe-inspiring young scholars has always been a source of deep gratitude.  Whether premiering a new piece of music or performing the gems of the established repertoire, these young musicians always approach their work  with humility, grace and deep respect.  My thanks for all that they have done  for me personally on my own  musical journey and for all the joy and wonder that  they have brought to all who have heard them."

Mr. Neswick has been very supportive of our Music Department over the years, and as a way to offer him our gratitude, we awarded him the highly coveted Glenbard East letterman's jacket, which was personalized for him specifically, and which he proudly wore during his recent visit to Glenbard East on March 12 and 13 for our Southern Tour Choir Concert before heading off to Valparaiso and Houston, TX for concerts.
